The time has arrived for my daily bud walks. Each day I walk around my little yard and see what is peeping out of the soil or budding on the trees. The bulbs I planted last fall are popping up in front of my deck with buds heavy and almost bursting into bloom. The star magnolia received some TLC this weekend and I was careful not to touch her heavy buds. Soon, soon white star flowers will burst along her bare branches - this is my youngest daughter's "God tree."
What's starting to bloom where you are?
In New England, we see pumpkins everywhere in the fall. It is Autumn's
official mascot, adding charm to decor and spice to our muffins, coffee,
and pastr...

a god tree!! how beautiful!!! i noticed buds on the lilac near the back door this morning when i walked the puppies... i shivered and told it to go back to sleep for a few more weeks! :)
I spotted the east-facing daffy's peeking up yesterday. And I've been watching the forsythia warming up for days now.
Exciting, isn't it?
The horizon is now misted with red as the trees are starting to produce those tight red buds, flowering weeds are everywhere, and I'm in hogs' heaven! :) Isn't it LOVELY!?
Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog, as well! :)
