Community cleanups
Thought of the gang today. Where we live had a "neighborhood cleanup day" today. What a great way to commune with the earth and our human community. A nice reward for those of us cleaning up the common landscapey areas: getting to take home the plants we removed. The islands look nice, and some of us have new plants in our own gardens.

WHat kinds of plants did you take home? :)
Well, I did harvest some chickweed, dandelion, rosemary, garlic chives, and sage from my lawn and garden. I have not ventured out into the forest or other property yet to harvest herbs.
