What an amazing berry!!!

I want to make a necklace using those tones! But no manmade bead is as pretty!

How pretty. Is that soon to be a blueberry?

Absolutely...the symbolic power of nature has threaded its way through cultures the world over across time... and found its way into jewellery design and every other art craft and man-made medium possible...from ancient vessels, temples, floor mosaics, wall frescos through to the most contemporary of works!
We are saturated in it with out even realising much of the time.... these days like many tune out of thinking where food comes from they also tune out of thinking where forms in all our culrtural heritages got their inspiration!
Your blog is delightful...
best

There's nothing on my blueberry bush yet :-( I love the detail in the close up :-)

You will probably love: Comelina elegans, a weed in the tropics with an incredible indigo blue flower.

Dogs, chicken, rabbits love them.

I use some weeds in me garden, they are resistant, aesthetically fine, and underestimated.

Love your blog, so many people don't realize the beauty of wild flowers and what great use they can be.
