they say, "eat me, eat me."

At least that's what the ones I've been listening to have been saying to me. Recently, you might say I was guided to take a closer look at how I've been feeding myself. I realized that, especially given the hit I've taken to my heart chakra, I could be eating a whole lot more green food.

So I've added greens - fresh greens - to every meal, including breakfast. And I don't have words enough to tell you how much better I feel.

What a lovely blog, Annie. My Daddy was a bit of a forager, and we often nibbled weeds and plants as we hiked, or gathered greens to bring home and cook. I have shared this with my children...introducing them to sorrel, burdock (they are still suspicious of my intentions with that one, LOL), wild mustard, and lovely, peppery fireweed flowers...so many great garden treasures.

I practice actively … consciously … opening my heart chakra, especially during times of trial, challenge, potential hurt and grief and it seems to work "well" for me. In talking to other healer-ish folks, these are times they often close or practice protection (blocking) …

Now … I'm wondering if this fanatical obsession (addiction?) to green foods (LoVe those green leafies!) supports this …

Hmm.

Makes me think. I eat a lot of green foods. I have to really think about adding other colors to my diet but green is always the base. Maybe I should look at what my heart may need.
